Akeydra Hagens - President

​

  • Akeydra is co-owner of CREATE child enrichment center. She is a veteran who served in the United States Air Force as a Financial Management technician. Co-founder and VP of Urban Flag Football League- first black-owned flag football league in Omaha. Chairwoman and Treasurer of Black Agenda Alliance-the mission of BAA is to advance the development of economic, political, social, and spiritual awareness within the black community in Omaha, Nebraska by building a unified alliance anchored by grassroots community engagement and partnerships. Facilitator of Curls on the Block- Curls on the Block is a non-profit organization for girls ages 6-16 who are a part of the curly community. The enrichment program teaches them to love their natural selves while working to increase engagement, investment, and commitment to careers in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

 

Leo Crawford - Vice President

  • Leo is a veteran with the United States Army. He is Founder of Crawford Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit corporation which has served the community for over 13 years. He also owns LRC Management II

Krystal Flowers - Treasurer 

​

  • Krystal is Owner and Founder of K.L.F. Consulting LLC and Co-Owner of CREATE Child Enrichment Center. She received her MBA degree from Bellevue University. She has taken and passed nine credit hours in Early Childhood Education at Metro Community College. She has worked in the Healthcare industry, sales, food services, and property management and has over 7 years of management experience. Facilitator of Curls on the Block- Curls on the Block is a non-profit organization for girls ages 6-16 who are a part of the curly community. The enrichment program teaches them to love their natural selves while working to increase engagement, investment, and commitment to careers in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Krystal is also a member of non-profit organization I Be Black Girl.

 

Melisha Potter - Secretary 

  • Melisha is a Realtor and Property Manager with NP Dodge for over 5 years. She is owner of Rent It Management Group, a property management company.  She received her MBA from Bellevue University. She has over 15 years of Marketing and Sales experience.
